TEAM have been delivering courses on all aspects of the electronic patient record for over 17 years. These courses have been designed and delivered by experts in their field with years of experience in both the practical and development spheres of health care.
Topics: Our courses cover all the main areas of expertise required to create, maintain, extract and analyse Primary Care data and information such as:
- Read Coding
- Notes Summarising
- Medical Terminology
- Information Governance
- QoF
Style: The courses use a blend of teaching, discussion and practical sessions carefully designed to ensure the information is presented in the most appropriate way and understood at both academic and practical levels.
Duration: Most courses are half day (three hours) with a minimum of two sessions per day i.e. one a.m. and one p.m. – these sessions can be the same or different topics. The normal delivery times would be 9.30 – 12.30, and 1.00 – 4.00.
Location: The courses are usually commissioned by the local PCT or a group of practices and delivered at a location provided by the commissioner. A room of sufficient size for the number of delegates and a suitable projection surface is required and ideally the facility for refreshments and toilets . All equipment and materials are provided by TEAM Associates.
Costs / booking: All our course prices are fully inclusive and can be obtained by contacting the office. Cancellations over 15 days before the delivery date will incur no cost, less than 15 days before deliver date will incur a fee of 50% of the course cost.
