New 'Information Centre' launched

Building on the reductions in collections we've made already, the new authority will scrap unnecessary collections and bring together data gathering to reduce bureaucracy,Ehe said.

Staff will be released from ticking data boxes to spend more time working directly with patients.  The IC will also set standards and improve the quality of information for decision-making by health professionals and patients.

Sounds good....... let's wait and see....................
